I think the best piece of clothing is not pointable…there are so many things comin’ out and much of it looks nice…but if i have to choose, it would be the levi’s x kaws collabo…
6. Best shoe in 2008
Best shoe in 2008 is more than 1….i think the Nike air max 90 Current is one of the best innovative thing i’ve seen in a while…The Asics gel lyte III x Solebox is great too..(have been standing in line for 3 days the materials and the colourchanging effect are the business! And last but not least, ofcourse the re-issue of the Structure…Well done , Nike!
7. Best accessory in 2008
I think the Oakley Frogskin sunglasses…I wear them all the time…the thing is, the lenses are so good, you can look directly into the sun! (and it hides the evening before, if you know what i mean…) If you got the right lenses ofcourse ;))
8. Worst trend in 2008
Worst trend has to be the laceflips….putting different colours of laces in your shoes is not done…it looks like a competition : who has the worst matching skillz…If the shoe designers wanted you to put weird laces in, they would provide you with them….
9. Most looking forward to in 2009
I can go on and on on this subject but I’ll keep it short..The retro of the Pegasus is one thing i’m really looking forward to….seen the pics and they look stunning compared to the real deal, they are really,and i mean really close! Hopefully they will only release the OG colorways, but i guess we’ll see a gangbangraped Pegs further down the line..On the second hand i’m really looking forward to collabos with great artists and shops around the world…i support and like alot of artists and shops so i want the best for everyone…Third, as a Asics-head, i’m looking forward to see new stuff of these guys..(OG colorways please!!!) but what I’ve seen for 2009 (first quarter) looks very promising!
10. Dream collabo
Ofcourse an Asics Gel Lyte III will be the dream for me…to get my head wrapped around a perfect Gel lyte III,would be an honor and a pleasure to do…(get at me , Rem(c)(k)o’s!!!)NB 1500 not to forget is a shoe that looks great , feels nice, and is very rockable…i would go crazy checking out the old books to see if i can bring back a stunning 80’s/90’s colorway….burgundy-red maybe?? (NB , Call me!!!)
11. Last words
The last words…hmmm…i would like to give a big-up to all my fellow sneakerheads around the world! Thanks for all the info and hookups so i can buy my shit!Remember:Don’t copy your neighbour’s style but make your own….They’ll copy you further down the line.Don’t buy the same shoes as your friend has, but try to look further and buy the opposite….you will stand out of the crowd..Like it? Then buy it, and don’t listen to what’s in or out, old or new, next level or a couple steps back…you is you , not you is everybody…Hope to see ya guys soon somewhere…camping out for a store or just for a chat, cup of coffee or a bacardi/coke..Keep your so(u)les clean!!!
